Charity & Sponsors

The Amwell Rotary Satellite Group has though our cycling events raised thousands of pounds since we started all this back in 2012. The Isabel Hospice, the Playbarn Project, local schools and sports clubs have all benefited from the money we have raised just by pedalling our bikes. We are really proud that we provided a bursary for Nick Dlamini. He was at that time a young African rider and we contributed to the cost of important medical treatment for him. He has since gone on to become a full blown professional with Dimension Data and even win the King of the Mountain competition at the Tour Down Under!! This has all been possible because riders have chosen to take part in our Etape d’Amwell event.

We are always looking for new members to take part in our events and those that want to get involved in giving back to local and international communities through sports.

We are proud to support the Isabel Hospice as the prime beneficiary of this event.

If you have a life-limiting illness, Isabel Hospice can care for you and your family. All care is free and can be provided in the home by the Hospice at Home team, by Living Well and community nursing teams online, or at the In-Patient Unit. Many of the patients have cancer, however almost 50% of those cared for have other life-limiting conditions. We rely heavily on donations from our community, as well as income from fundraising events.
