The Rotary Club of Amwell brings you for the first time:
Ronde van Amwell.
A super hard classic sportive. We ride for Mens’ Mental Health.
A new classics style sportive joins the calendar for the cyclists. Come and join us and ride like a Belgian on the super good course that is designed to test your spring season legs.
In June of 2021 one of our events team lost a close family member to mental health. Ben Pegram was just twenty three when he died. We do not want other families to suffer this tragedy. We ask you to join us on your bike so we can raise money for Mind Mid-Herts and Mind Hertfordshire Network.
|25km Fun Ride:||£15|
We are offering two courses for the Ronde van Amwell. In addition to cycling sportive we will have a festival atmosphere on the day with activities for all the family.
This is the sportive length course. The sportive director has sought out the hardest and toughest climbs of the Hertfordshire area. This ride will test you again and again until the final.
This shorter fun course is for those that want to be part of something special but do not have the experienced legs. It will still be a tough challenge and you will experience the thrill of climbing a hard hill on your bike.
The parcours is well sign posted and marshalled with our enthusiastic volunteers. The fuel station will not disappoint on the route so that you can ride all the way to the finish. Full route details and GPX files will be issued near to the event date.

This event is organised by volunteers that give their time for free. All profits from the event will be donated to Mind Mid Herts and Mind Hertfordshire Network. We aim to support them to develop services that are accessible to young men. By taking part you will be directly helping to save lives and make a difference. Let’s climb hills and stop the tragedy of young male suicide.
